"One of the best shawarma spots in Patong! The meat is juicy and flavorful, the bread is thin and slightly crispy, and the garlic sauce makes it perfect. Portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. The place has a nice second-floor lounge if you want to sit and relax. Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors in Phuket."
"We had an amazing experience at this Arabic restaurant in Patong, Phuket. Everything was perfect — from the warm and friendly staff to the clean and pleasant atmosphere. The most outstanding part was the quality and portion size of the food, which truly exceeded our expectations. The dishes were very fresh, full of flavor, and professionally prepared. The portions were so generous that we were completely full and even had leftovers. The flavors were authentic and exactly what you would expect from a real Arabic restaurant. If you are looking for high-quality Arabic food with generous portions in Phuket, this restaurant is one of the best choices. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone."

"It’s a perfect match of taste service view ambiance and quantity everything is in one pack we ordered the mix platter which was 1700 baht but after it arrived the quantity shocked me I thought may be taste won’t be so good that’s why the quantity is so much or may be by mistake they gave me two platter after seeing me and my wife because 2 months before something similar happened with me in Luang Prabang Lao in a place called Indigo , but the fact about this place made me stun Quantity was for 4 with a 1700 baht platter and the taste was so delicious I will surely visit them again to try hummus staff manager are very polite you have to wait 10/15 minutes for platter as they prepare it which is totally worth it place is super clean we even saw one of the unique birthday celebration they keep may be in Syrian or Arab style I am not sure but it was cool though all together the perfect for dining try to be there before sunset at least ( 5/5:30 ) thank you so much for the wonderful evening and the service"
"Review: Sultan Al Sham Phuket - A Taste of Authentic Arabic Delights on the Island For anyone craving genuine Arabic food in the heart of Phuket, Sultan Al Sham offers a culinary oasis that stands out amidst the bustling Thai food scene. Specializing in Levantine cuisine, this restaurant brings the rich, aromatic flavors of the Middle East directly to your plate. Overall Impression: Sultan Al Sham Phuket is a consistently reliable spot for those seeking authentic and delicious Arabic fare. Whether you're a homesick expat, a traveler familiar with the cuisine, or simply curious to explore something new, this place delivers a satisfying and memorable dining experience. Ambiance & Location: Conveniently located (often in tourist-friendly areas of Phuket like Patong or close to major attractions – specific location can vary, so check beforehand), the restaurant typically offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. While not overtly opulent, the decor usually incorporates subtle Arabic touches, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment for families, couples, or groups. It's often well-lit and clean, providing a relaxed setting perfect for a leisurely meal. The Food (The Star of the Show!): This is where Sultan Al Sham truly shines. The menu is extensive, covering the breadth of popular Levantine dishes, prepared with an authentic touch: Appetizers (Mezze): A must-try! Their Hummus is consistently smooth, creamy, and rich, often served with a generous drizzle of olive oil. The Baba Ghanoush is smoky and flavorful, while the Fattoush salad is fresh, tangy, and boasts perfectly crispy pita pieces. Their Falafel are crispy on the outside and tender within – a true delight. And of course, these are all perfectly complemented by warm, fluffy freshly baked pita bread. Main Courses: The grilled meats are a highlight. The Shish Taouk (chicken skewers) are marinated to perfection, succulent and tender. The Lamb Kebabs are juicy, well-spiced, and grilled to perfection. They also offer hearty rice dishes like Mandi or Biryani (though often labeled as a form of "rice with meat"), full of fragrant spices and tender meat. Vegetarian options beyond the mezze often include flavorful stews or substantial lentil dishes. Quality & Authenticity: What truly sets Sultan Al Sham apart is its commitment to authentic flavors. The spices are robust yet balanced, and the ingredients taste fresh. You get the sense that the dishes are prepared with genuine care and a deep understanding of traditional recipes. Service: The staff at Sultan Al Sham are generally attentive, friendly, and efficient. They are often knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations or explain dishes to those unfamiliar with Arabic cuisine. Service is usually prompt, even during busier periods. Value for Money: Considering the quality of the ingredients, the generous portion sizes, and the overall dining experience, Sultan Al Sham offers very good value for money. While not a budget eatery, the prices are reasonable for the standard of food delivered, especially in a tourist hub like Phuket. Recommendation: Sultan Al Sham Phuket is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Arabic food on the island. It's an excellent choice for Middle Eastern travelers seeking a taste of home, and equally fantastic for adventurous foodies looking to explore a different, flavorful cuisine beyond Thai fare. Highly recommended for its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and reliable quality. Pros:Authentic and delicious Arabic/Levantine flavors Fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes Excellent range of mezze, grilled meats, and rice dishes Warm and comfortable ambiance Good value for money Attentive and friendly service Cons: Can get quite busy during peak dining hours (a sign of its popularity!) Specific location might require a short taxi ride depending on where you're staying in Phuket. If you find yourself in Phuket with a craving for hummus, shish taouk, or a warming lentil soup, Sultan Al Sham is undoubtedly the place to be"
"Some of nicest and freshest tasting arabic food I have had. The meats were tender and cooked to perfection. My only complaint is that the mixed kebabs are not served with any complimentary sides. There is complimentary flat bread but this was quite hard n crispy. (I prefer it fluffy and soft). The rice pudding for dessert was delicious and the lemon/mint drink was tasty and refreshing. The vines leaves were soft with just the right amount of lemon. Very good food. Suggestion: a description of each dish should be added to menu. I had to ask the staff several times to explain what each dish was."
"This restaurant was absolutely amazing! As it was our first time in Thailand, we were a little sceptical about the food at first, but we were beyond impressed once we ate. Everything was delicious, and the service was exceptional. A special mention to our waiter, Si Thu — he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"
"The food was amazing. We came back twice on our 4 day vacation."
